1) No Attorney–Client Relationship via Site

Viewing the Site, contacting us through forms, email, or phone, or receiving a response does not create an attorney–client relationship. Representation begins only after conflict checks are completed and you sign a written engagement agreement issued by the Firm.

2) Informational Purposes; No Legal Advice

Site content is for general informational purposes only and is not legal advice. Do not act or refrain from acting based on information on the Site without seeking counsel from a licensed attorney.

3) Attorney Advertising; Past Results

The Site may be considered attorney advertising. Past outcomes do not guarantee or predict similar results. Every matter is unique.

4) Permitted Use & Prohibited Conduct
 

• Do not use the Site for unlawful purposes or to submit false, infringing, or harmful content.

• Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, our systems, or data.

• Do not use automated scraping or data extraction except via publicly documented APIs (if any).

6) Intellectual Property

8) No Warranties

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and availability.

9) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Firm, its attorneys, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or use, arising out of or relating to your use of the Site. For any direct damages, our aggregate liability shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

10) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Firm and its personnel from and against claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.

11) Governing Law; Venue; Limitation on Claims

These Terms and any dispute relating to the Site are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue lies in the state and federal courts located in Jackson County, Michigan. Any claim related to the Site must be filed within one (1) year after it arose or be forever barred.
Engagement for Legal Services: Legal services are governed by the separate written engagement agreement you sign with the Firm. If there is any conflict between these Terms and an engagement agreement, the engagement agreement controls.

12) Changes to the Site or Terms

We may update the Site or these Terms at any time. Updates are effective upon posting. Continued use of the Site after updates constitutes acceptance.
